Aircond Not Cooling or Cooling Weakly
Dirty coil or filter – A chemical wash fixes this. Schedule a chemical wash with your repair visit – it takes 20 minutes longer and costs less than a return trip.
Low gas due to leak – We find the leak first, repair it, then refill. Topping up without fixing the leak damages the compressor.
Faulty compressor – RM500–RM1,500. If your unit is over 8 years old, we’ll honestly advise repair vs replacement.
Faulty capacitor – Cheaper fix (RM80–RM150). Left unfixed, it destroys the compressor.
Aircon Leaking Water Indoors
Blocked drain pipe – Algae buildup. We flush and clear properly – not just a temporary poke.
Cracked or misaligned drain tray – Water drips past the tray onto your ceiling.
Wrong installation slope – Permanent fix by correcting the angle.
For persistent leaks, see our aircon water leak repair page.
Aircond Making Noise — Buzzing, Grinding, Rattling
Grinding or squealing – Worn fan motor bearings. Ignoring it leads to complete motor failure.
Rattling or vibrating – Loose screws, dislodged fan blade, or loose compressor mount.
Buzzing or humming – Electrical issue (loose wiring, failing capacitor, or PCB problem).
Hissing or gurgling – Refrigerant gas leak. WhatsApp us immediately – unfixed leaks damage the compressor.
Aircond Not Turning On or Tripping Breaker
Faulty capacitor – Most common cause. Replacement RM80–RM150.
PCB board failure – Caused by power surges, moisture, or age. Replacement RM200–RM500.
Compressor drawing excessive current – Serious fault. WhatsApp us with details for an honest assessment.
Wiring or electrical connection fault – We perform a full electrical check as part of every diagnosis.
Aircond Smells Musty or Stale
A musty smell means mould is growing inside the unit – on the evaporator coil and blower wheel. A standard filter clean cannot reach this area.
This is not a repair – it is a chemical wash. We remove the front panel, apply foam chemical, dissolve the mould, and flush everything through the drain. The smell is gone after one wash in most cases.
If the smell returns within weeks, the unit may need an overhaul clean. Contact us and describe the situation – we’ll advise honestly.
